Capability — Secondary Operations
Secondary Operations
The details that take a fabricated part to a finished part.
A cut and formed part isn't always a finished part. Secondary operations — deburring sharp edges, grinding weld seams, adding hardware, marking part numbers, or applying finishing prep — are often the difference between a component that's usable and one that's actually ready.
We perform a range of secondary operations in-house and coordinate others as part of a complete fabrication program. Our goal is to deliver parts to the state you actually need them, not just to the point where we're technically done with our core process.
Common secondary operations include deburring and edge breaking, grinding and blending, punching and notching, marking and identification, surface prep, and coordination of finishing processes including painting and powder coating with trusted finishing partners.
