Project Examples
Real projects. Real results.
We let the work speak. These are representative examples of fabrication programs we've delivered — the problems we solved, the processes we built, and the outcomes our customers experienced.
Recurring Production Program: Structural Enclosures for Industrial Equipment Manufacturer
A mid-sized equipment manufacturer needed a reliable fabrication partner for a recurring production program — structural enclosures in 14-gauge mild steel, required in consistent monthly quantities with tight dimensional tolerances and a surface prep finish.
The Challenge
The customer had experienced quality inconsistencies with a previous supplier — dimensional variation between lots, missing hardware, and inconsistent edge quality. They needed a supplier that could demonstrate process discipline from the start.
Our Approach
We established a documented production process with setup records, a defined inspection plan for critical features, and a first article package that gave the customer a clear quality baseline. Monthly production runs are managed against that baseline.
The Outcome
Zero lot rejections since program launch. On-time delivery maintained across all production releases. Customer expanded program scope to include secondary components 6 months after initial qualification.
Capabilities Used
- CNC Laser Cutting
- Press Brake Forming
- PEM Hardware Insertion
- First Article Inspection

Prototype Brackets: Rapid Fabrication for Vehicle Development Program
An automotive engineering team needed prototype structural brackets in three configurations for fit-check and load testing. Timeline was tight — engineering needed parts within 10 business days to maintain their test schedule.
The Challenge
The drawings were still being refined when the project was initiated. The team needed dimensional verification and a DFM review to catch any issues before the tooling was locked in for production.
Our Approach
We reviewed the drawings, identified one bend radius that would cause springback issues at the specified material gauge, and coordinated a quick design revision before cutting. First article was completed ahead of schedule with full dimensional documentation.
The Outcome
Parts delivered in 9 business days. First article report accepted without revision. Customer advanced the design to production tooling using data from our prototype run.
Capabilities Used
- DFM Review
- CNC Laser Cutting
- Press Brake Forming

Custom Welded Assembly: Material Handling Frame for Conveyor System
An equipment designer needed a custom welded steel frame for a conveyor system upgrade — structural 3/16" mild steel, MIG welded, with mounting hardware installed and painted prior to delivery.
The Challenge
The frame design had five distinct weld joints requiring proper fixturing to maintain squareness across a 6-foot span. Previous fabrication had produced a frame that was off-square, causing misalignment in the conveyor installation.
Our Approach
We built a simple fixture from the drawing to hold the frame square during welding. Squareness was verified before and after welding. Hardware was installed per the BOM and the frame was prepped and sent to our finishing partner for powder coat.
The Outcome
Frame was on-spec, within 1/16" squareness over the full span. Customer confirmed fit at installation without adjustment. Reorder placed immediately for two additional units.
Capabilities Used
- MIG Welding
- Structural Fabrication
- Hardware Installation
- Finishing Coordination
